Hi! My name is Michèle. I was born in the 80ies, in the Netherlands. Currently, I'm living near Utrecht, with my boyfriend and a very fluffy cat.
After receiving my Bachelor degree, there suddenly was more time for the fun things in life, like blogging about nail polish. These days, you'll find me over on Instagram at @lacquerized.moments rather than on this blog. Painting nails isn't the only thing I occupy myself with though, I'm also working as a front-end developer and accessibility (WCAG) specialist. This basically means that I'm converting just about any design into a working website on a daily basis. From time to time I also like to design websites.
My love for nail polish quickly began after I stopped biting my nails. That compulsive habit was hard to break, but I am so glad I did. As a young girl I was already infatuated with my mothers nail polish. Ever since then the never ending array of colors has been a shining beacon in my life.
I really pour my heart into this passion, and I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I do. I also focus on being more conscious about what I buy. I try to shop cruelty-free and ethically as much as possible. If I'm going to spend my money anyway, I want to make sure it ends up in the right place. At the moment I try to post at least three times a week. I wish I could do more, but as we all know... quantity is no substitute for quality. Enjoy!
