I for years have worn clear polish on my toes until recently. My choice now especially in summer is wearing brightwhite whiteout on my toes. I guess my innocent interest in it prompted my sister to initially paint them. Well, she and my wife thought did look kind-of cool, so it was not the last time I ended up with my toenails painted. And then I found out about BB Couture men's nail polish line, I found a lot more polishes that I could actually wear.

I don't think of it as being feminine at all. I don't wear pinks or reds, but try to choose colors that look more masculine. And heck, my feet look a lot better now because I do take better care of them than I used to. Besides, my wife likes it on me, so I guess that is a pretty good reason to enjoy it!

In case you are curious, I do have a blog at http://toepaintguy.blogspot.com/ and I routinely post pics at http://www.flickr.com/photos/toepaintguy/

I welcome all of your comments, even if you are not currently a fan. My toenails are always in colour, but I don't show that very often. Usually I change coulour after a week or so. Favourites are dark reds, purples and browns. As it should be perfect, I take my time for it and use base and topcoat. My wife never had any problem with it. Why would she? I paint her toes too, and she never has to buy any nail polish as all colours are in the house. On my finger nails I only wear nail polish in public when I go out. It used to be black for years, because I did not dare to wear any other colours. People got used to it, although I was, except for a few occassions, the only man with polished nails. Women often complimented me, men often asked why, although never in an offensive way. A few years ago a nail technician I met offered me a free manicure and polished my nails with a dark purple. Since then I wear all kinds of dark colours on my fingernails when I go out. The reason for painting my nails is very simple, I like it. Its certainly not meant to be shocking or so.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8453635140925491261.post-18506510667515770702010-07-24T21:40:45.710+02:002010-07-24T21:40:45.710+02:00oh, no, NAY! just too weird...oh, no, NAY! just too weird...courtnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8453635140925491261.post-64148223819910916522010-07-23T15:09:12.146+02:002010-07-23T15:09:12.146+02:00Big fat m'fucking yay!Big fat m'fucking yay!Little Miss Spookinesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03769919993228085189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8453635140925491261.post-72683936769090460742010-07-23T00:14:22.411+02:002010-07-23T00:14:22.411+02:00Definitely yay!Definitely yay!IDAhttp://iiea.blogg.senoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8453635140925491261.post-73338736740342243462010-07-22T21:30:11.835+02:002010-07-22T21:30:11.835+02:00YAY!!!
